 Christmas is fast approaching and as we prepare to get festive and celebrate we are asking everyone to think about the environment this Christmas.
To celebrate we are running a Christmas Decoration Competition with a twist. Decorations must be made from household packaging and waste. Please find attached a poster promoting the competition which is open to all ages and an entry form. The prizes for the best entries are Energy Saving LED Christmas Lights! Closing Date is 12th December 2012, see attached information poster and application form. Every year each household generates a lot of extra of packaging waste over the Christmas period, an estimated 54kgs per household. South Dublin County Council is encouraging everyone to reduce and recycle their festive packaging.
