Hello, fellow Prospect Manor residents! I am thrilled to share with you the amazing work that some of our Prospect Manor Residents Association members accomplished last week. It's always heartwarming to see our community come together, and this time, it was to give our estate a much-needed makeover. The wooden rails on Stocking Lane and the Heath had been looking a bit worn, and our dedicated Residents Association members decided to take action. With paintbrushes in hand and a splash of colour in their hearts, they transformed the rails into a vibrant, welcoming sight. The difference is truly astounding, and I'm sure you'll all agree that their hard work has paid off. But that's not all! Our Residents Association members also turned their green thumbs towards our flower beds, preparing them for the beautiful bedding flowers that will soon grace our community. With summer just around the corner, we can't wait to see our estate bloom and flourish, thanks to their tireless efforts. Living in Prospect Manor, we are all fortunate to have the Residents Association working behind the scenes to make our community a better place. From organising events to maintaining the grounds, their dedication and passion are evident in everything they do. I would like to extend my personal gratitude, and I'm sure I speak for us all, to the Prospect Manor Residents Association for their unwavering commitment to our community. Their efforts have not only made our estate more beautiful but have also fostered a sense of pride and unity among us all. Next time you walk by the freshly painted rails or the blooming flower beds, take a moment to appreciate the hard work of our Residents Association members. And, if you're not already a member, I highly encourage you to consider joining. It's a fantastic way to get involved, meet new people, and make a difference in our community. Once again, thank you to the Prospect Manor Residents Association. We are proud to be part of such a caring and dedicated community. Warm regards, Derek (Website Maintainer)
Dear Residents,
It’s time for our annual Spring Clean in Prospect Manor. We would appreciate and welcome as many volunteers as possible to help out on Sunday, between 12 and 4pm. The areas we will be targeting are as follows: - Litter and Rubbish clean up down by the River. - The Heath / Trim bushes and rake leaves into bundles. - 3 Beds on Main Green / Toss soil and layer with top soil. - 2 Beds at Entrance / Toss soil and layer with top soil. - Bus Stops / Paint rails and clean up area. - Stocking Lane Walkway / Litter pick up. - General litter pick up and removal of any graffitti throughout the estate. The Committee has limited equipment so we would ask that you bring along a shovel or rake with your name on it. We will supply gloves, bags, litter pickers and a large skip on the main green. If you can’t help out on the day, please try to do a little outside your own home, at a time that suits you. We would like to thank you all for your continued support in helping us to keep Prospect Manor an estate to be proud of and hopefully a happy place for you and your family to live. If you have any comments or queries please contact us at [email protected]. |
