Refuse Collection

Collection of black bin service is managed by Greyhound Recycling on behalf of South Dublin County Council.  The brown bin is collected every other second week.  Geryhound manage a bin tagging system to charge for this service.

The Green Bin is for - Plastic bottles, milk, shampoo, detergents, Paper Cardboard, Cardboard cartons,  Aluminium cans & Steel Cans.
Do not put in Green Bin - Glass bottles, Plastic bags, Kitchen waste or Textiles.

There are other private competitive operators providing refuse collection for both disposal to landfill & disposal for recycling.

When parking cars or taking delivery of rubbish skips, please take care to leave room for the bin lorries to pass.
