Hello, everyone! As the days grow shorter and the nights begin to draw in, I've found myself reminiscing about a wonderful community initiative we had about a decade ago - the Winter Walking Group. I'm sure many of you remember it fondly, and I've been thinking, why not bring it back?
Why a Winter Walking Group? The Winter Walking Group served a multitude of purposes. It encouraged us to stay active during the colder months, it brightened up those dark evenings, and most importantly, it brought our community together, providing a sense of safety and camaraderie as we explored our neighborhood under the night sky. When and Where? I propose we start our revived Winter Walking Group on Monday, 4th November at 8pm. Let's meet at our familiar spot, The Green. It's central, easy to find, and a great place to start our walks. Why Join?
Please share this with friends, family, and neighbors who might be interested. The more the merrier! Looking forward to seeing you all there! Let's make this winter a little brighter, one step at a time. 🚶♂️🚶♀️🌟 Stay safe, stay active, and let's enjoy the winter together! -Michelle ![]() Hello, fellow Prospect Manor residents! I am thrilled to share with you the amazing work that some of our Prospect Manor Residents Association members accomplished last week. It's always heartwarming to see our community come together, and this time, it was to give our estate a much-needed makeover. The wooden rails on Stocking Lane and the Heath had been looking a bit worn, and our dedicated Residents Association members decided to take action. With paintbrushes in hand and a splash of colour in their hearts, they transformed the rails into a vibrant, welcoming sight. The difference is truly astounding, and I'm sure you'll all agree that their hard work has paid off. But that's not all! Our Residents Association members also turned their green thumbs towards our flower beds, preparing them for the beautiful bedding flowers that will soon grace our community. With summer just around the corner, we can't wait to see our estate bloom and flourish, thanks to their tireless efforts. Living in Prospect Manor, we are all fortunate to have the Residents Association working behind the scenes to make our community a better place. From organising events to maintaining the grounds, their dedication and passion are evident in everything they do. I would like to extend my personal gratitude, and I'm sure I speak for us all, to the Prospect Manor Residents Association for their unwavering commitment to our community. Their efforts have not only made our estate more beautiful but have also fostered a sense of pride and unity among us all. Next time you walk by the freshly painted rails or the blooming flower beds, take a moment to appreciate the hard work of our Residents Association members. And, if you're not already a member, I highly encourage you to consider joining. It's a fantastic way to get involved, meet new people, and make a difference in our community. Once again, thank you to the Prospect Manor Residents Association. We are proud to be part of such a caring and dedicated community. Warm regards, Derek (Website Maintainer) |
